Dear If Americans Knew Reader,
We urgently need your help.
Your contribution, of any size, is essential for us to continue our work of informing Americans on Israel-Palestine, an area that has been at the center of regional tragedy and escalating global instability for over 60 years.
Anything you can give will help us keep our website and other projects alive.
As many of you know – but most Americans don’t – the United States is intimately connected to this issue through:
- Massive aid to Israel,
- Diplomatic vetoes of international efforts to bring peace, and
- Involvement in Middle East wars in which Israel is a fundamental factor.
Most Americans are disastrously uninformed on this issue due to the fact that US news reporting is highly distorted, Hollywood frequently misrepresents the region, and Anti-Muslim and anti-Arab misinformation abounds.
As US citizens learn the facts on Israel-Palestine, we will require our elected officials to implement rational policies that promote peace, rather than continuing the irrational strategies that fuel violence, destruction, and unconscionable human suffering.
It is possible to stop the fabricated and potentially cataclysmic “clash of civilizations” created by deception and manipulation. Please help us continue our critical work to give Americans the facts.
